Innospec offers cosmetic chemists Activemol DOM-R. This diethylhexyl maleate is a light emollient ester that imparts gloss to hair and skin. It is said to be ideal for spray shine conditioners and Innospec is promoting it as a squalene replacement. The company maintains that it delivers the same benefits as squalene such as good feel and moisturization. More info: www.innospec.com...
